Construction Professional – Transition to Sales
We’re partnering with an innovative construction technology company on a unique opportunity designed for professionals from the construction sector who want to transition into the world of SaaS and technology sales. This is a training-to-sales career pathway – ideal for someone who understands project costs, procurement, or finance within construction, and wants to apply that knowledge in a modern, technology‑driven environment.
What You’ll Do
* Phase 1 – Training & Onboarding (first 3–6 months):
o Learn how contractors use construction technology to manage costs and workflows.
o Guide new clients through paid pilot programmes and onboarding.
o Deliver online training sessions and gather client feedback.
o Shadow senior sales professionals on discovery and demo calls.
* Phase 2 – Transition to Sales (Account Executive):
o Conduct discovery and demo calls with new prospects.
o Understand each contractor’s setup (spreadsheets, Xero, POs, etc.) and identify pain points.
o Present tailored demonstrations showing how the software delivers visibility and control.
o Manage paid pilots and convert them into full subscriptions.
Who We’re Looking For
* Construction Business Owners / Directors / Operations Leads – understand job margins, POs, and forecasting.
* Finance Professionals (Accountant, AP, Bookkeeper, Finance Manager) – strong in job costing, reconciliations, and Xero or Sage.
* Project Managers / Quantity Surveyors / Contract Managers – experienced in tracking costs, variations, and procurement.
* Procurement or Buying Professionals – skilled in supplier management and cost control.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 5–10 years’ experience in construction, contracting, or project finance.
* Excellent communication skills and confident presenting online.
* Genuinely curious about technology, SaaS, and process improvement.
* Ambitious and eager to build a long‑term career in software sales.
