Role Objective:
The Production Control Engineer is a professional member of the Breadfast family who is responsible for monitoring the production cycle performance and adhering to Breadfast's profitability objectives.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the planning and coordination of the materials needed to produce our products. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and execute a comprehensive planning & procurement plan for all raw and packaging materials needed for production.
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all materials are available when needed and minimize batch sizing waste.
* Monitor the day-to-day operations (Raw Materials - Packagers) in addition to supervising the technical staff∙
* Oversee Daily Supply operations and ensure compliance with company policies and daily consumption requirements.
* Ensure that all Breadfast product specifications and customer requirements are adhered to Breadfast quality standards
* Validate that the team's materials consumption matches the agreed recipes and report any variations.
* Develop and introduce new methods and ways to enhance the production tracking.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate inventory of materials, tools, and other necessary equipment
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering, or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, warehouses, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
* Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, including sourcing, planning, and inventory management
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Power BI is a plus.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
