Production Scheduler
The successful candidate will work closely with a Global Manufacturing organization to develop and maintain production schedules using our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and sustain the production schedule using our ERP system.
2. Optimize workloads to maximize efficiency, productivity, and output.
3. Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure timely delivery of products.
4. Manage customer escalations effectively to prevent delays or de-commitments.
5. Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehousing teams to ensure timely receipt of materials and shipments.
6. Communicate with Warehouse and Quality teams to prioritize critical incoming deliveries.
7. Monitor Incoming Inspection performance to ensure all parts are inspected within 48 hours.
8. Respond promptly to machine downtime and adjust the schedule as necessary.
9. Identify stalled orders in Work-in-Progress (WIP) and drive timely resolution with relevant teams.
10. Oversee Outside Processing suppliers to ensure they meet delivery commitments.
11. Ensure orders are released from Finished Goods locations on time.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in production planning, supply chain, or a similar operations role (manufacturing environment preferred).
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issues.
* Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
* Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with Access ERP beneficial but not required).
