Trainee / Part-Qualified Accountant – Longford Town

We are currently seeking a Trainee or Part‑Qualified Accountant to join our client's growing team based in Longford Town. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑growing Top 10 accountancy practice nationwide, with a strong presence across the UK, offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants and partners, gaining hands‑on experience across accounts preparation, tax compliance, and client advisory while progressing through their professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation of year‑end financial statements for a range of SME clients
Supporting the preparation of tax returns including corporation tax and income tax
Assisting with management accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping
Working with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
Supporting senior team members with client engagements and financial analysis
What We’re Looking For:
A Trainee Accountant or Part‑Qualified Accountant pursuing a professional qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Good communication and organisational skills
An interest in developing a long‑term career in practice
