This is a unique opportunity to do more than just consult; you will be a key voice in our service, helping to build trust and deliver outstanding care from day one.You will work directly with patients, providing high-quality remote consultations and follow-ups, ensuring every individual feels heard, understood, and supported on their journey. This role is perfect for a doctor with a strong interest in metabolic health and weight management who is excited to work in an innovative, digital-first environment and actively contribute to patient education and engagement.What You'll Be DoingConducting remote consultations (asynchronously, via secure messaging and phone/video) for new and existing patients, providing evidence-based, personalised weight management care.Assessing patient suitability for treatment in line with the most current Irish clinical guidelines and prescribing protocols.Developing comprehensive and individualised treatment plans, including prescribing medication where clinically appropriate.Managing patient follow-ups to ensure continuity of care, monitor progress, and provide ongoing support.Acting as a clinical thought leader by contributing to our patient education resources, such as writing blog posts and helping to develop clear, accessible content.Maintaining detailed, high-quality medical records in compliance with Irish standards.Working collaboratively with the BUA Health founding team to refine clinical pathways and continuously improve the patient experience.Who You AreA qualified medical practitioner with full, active registration on the General or Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council (IMC) and medical indemnity insurance.A genuine interest in weight management, obesity medicine, or metabolic health.Confident and knowledgeable in prescribing treatments for weight management, including GLP-1 medications, according to Irish best practice.Passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who is comfortable and effective in a digital-first environment.Proactive and enthusiastic about the opportunity to help shape the clinical direction of a new and growing service.Able to commit to a flexible, part-time schedule (minimum commitment to be discussed).Highly organised, with excellent record-keeping skills.What We OfferCompetitive sessional rates.A fully remote and flexible working model that respects your work-life balance.The unique opportunity to join a mission-driven Irish company at its earliest stage and have a real impact.The chance to become a leading voice in digital health and preventative medicine in Ireland.A passionate, supportive, and welcoming team environment.A platform to not only practice medicine but also to educate and empower a wide patient audience.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €65,309.68-€150,000.00 per yearExpected hours: 8 – 30 per weekWork Location: Remote
