Abbott Vascular focuses on advancing vascular disease treatment through innovative medical devices and pharmaceuticals, investing heavily in R&D and education. Our products address vessel diseases that can lead to serious conditions like heart attack and stroke.
Purpose Statement
* Performs electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies, including setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines. May also perform tasks such as labeling and data sheet placement.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies.
* Assemble, repair, inspect, and test products following written instructions in English.
* Set up and operate manufacturing machines following documented procedures.
* Clean tools and equipment as per procedures and record information accurately.
* Dispose of hazardous waste properly.
* Resolve problems, make routine recommendations, and train colleagues as needed.
* Maintain certifications and complete daily tasks within schedule, prioritizing with supervisor guidance.
* Handle sensitive information confidentially and adhere to policies and procedures.
Education and Qualifications
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or relevant aptitude test.
* Relevant experience is advantageous but not essential; equivalent education and experience acceptable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic, energetic, and quick to integrate into teams.
* Flexible and innovative approach to work.
* Ability to perform routine tasks from detailed instructions, with limited troubleshooting required.
