We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Pharmacy Technician in our Dublin office.
Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist the Pharmacist in the day-to-day operation of the dispensary. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining relationships with nurses, care workers, and General Practitioners (GPs).
You will be responsible for processing daily orders for assigned accounts in a timely manner, ensuring that they are ready for pharmacist review. Additionally, you will need to have a keen eye for detail and ensure that all monthly orders are returned to the pharmacy and processed before the weekly deadline.
You will also be required to follow up on any queries with GPs and possess a good knowledge of company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Furthermore, you will strive to increase customer satisfaction at all times and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Recognized Pharmacy Technician or Dispensing Technician qualification
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a busy pharmacy setting and previous proficiency with McLernons Dispensing System
* Accurate data entry skills and strong management and organizational abilities
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with fluency in English
* Flexibility and proactivity to meet varied patient needs, including willingness to work as part of a team and promote a positive team environment
* Self-motivation and ability to work independently with an excellent attention to detail
