About the Role
The Housekeeper / General Operative will oversee housekeeping cleaning operations at our nursing home. Working hours are variable and occasional weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
* Act as Housekeeping Assistant, Catering Assistant and Laundry Assistant across the nursing home.
* Maintain vigilance towards the dignity, comfort and safety of residents.
* Adhere to all hygiene, health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Excellent people skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
* Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
* Strong organisation and planning skills to ensure staffing is adequate across the home and supplies are kept in order.
* Team player able to work with management and staff.
* Visible and credible leader who leads by example.
