Document Control Specialist - Maternity Cover
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual Document Control/Cost role, providing maternity cover for 9 months with a strong possibility of extension based on business needs.
About the Role:
An established engineering contractor is looking for a motivated and organized person to maintain and manage all project documentation in accordance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have some estimation experience and proficiency with MS Office and document control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and manage all project documentation in accordance with company standards.
* Support the estimation team by assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing documentation.
* Coordinate incoming and outgoing documents between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
* Ensure document control processes are followed across all active projects.
* Assist with data entry, procurement logs, and compiling project reports.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in document control, estimation, or a similar role within the engineering or construction sector.
* Proficiency with MS Office and document control systems (e.g. SharePoint, Aconex, or similar).
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and to deadlines.
