Our Client, a leading residential developer is looking for a skilled Finishing Foreperson to bring the final touches to residential units while working alongside a hard-working and collaborative team.
About the Role
:
The candidate will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality residential units, taking ownership from plastering stage through to final handover.
Responsibilities
:
* Unit Management
: Take ownership of each unit from plastering/skimming through 2nd and 3rd fix, snagging and final handover.
* Team Engagement
: Participate in daily whiteboard meetings and collaborate with the site team to drive performance.
* Stakeholder Communication
: Liaise with the Site Administrator, Completions Coordinator, and Sales Team to provide regular updates on unit handovers.
* Health & Safety Leadership
: Take ownership of on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
* Programme Management
: Understand the delivery programme, report on progress weekly, and proactively address any delays to keep the project on track.
* Subcontractor Coordination
: Manage and coordinate subcontractors and service providers to meet project milestones, including testing and commissioning.
* Quality Assurance
: Carry out continuous inspections of on-site works, resolving issues promptly to maintain quality.
* Documentation & Compliance
: Snagging & Handover: Lead and manage snagging teams to achieve efficient, high-quality unit handovers. Maintain and close out the snag list in coordination with subcontractors.
* Labour & Material Tracking
: Complete daily allocation sheets to track site labour and material usage.
* Customer Engagement
: Engage with homeowners and potential purchasers, delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
* Aftercare:
Address aftercare issues promptly and escalate any problems to Contracts Manager.
