OverviewA Reliability Specialist is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our Co Cork Biotech client – a 12-month initial contract role. The Reliability Specialist will be the primary owner of the Asset Maintenance Strategy operating within the site Engineering CoE.ResponsibilitiesImprove asset management and reliability through technical support of the maintenance function and optimisation of the site maintenance process.Provide expert advice on improving Equipment Reliability, Risk Based Asset Management, and Cost Management, and act in a consultative fashion to assist with equipment issues.Develop engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.Maintain the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program such as vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses, supporting the interpretation of the results.Analyse equipment history within the CMMS to assure effectiveness of all maintenance efforts, reducing regulatory concerns, both cGxP and EHS.Reduce and improve maintenance work, assuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process, and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets at optimal cost.Benchmark other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and techniques.
