Accounts Assistant - Irish SME - Dublin 16A well-established Irish SME is seeking an experienced and hands-onAccounts Assistantto join its busy finance team.This is a varied, all-round role offering exposure across the full finance function, ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping and accounts experience who enjoys taking ownership and working closely with colleagues across the business.You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of finance operations, from payroll and reconciliations through to reporting and audit support.The Role:Working as part of a small, collaborative finance team, you will provide broad accounting and administrative support across accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reporting activities. This position offers excellent variety and would suit someone who thrives in an SME environment where flexibility and teamwork are key.Key Responsibilities:Process payroll and related returnsManage accounts payable and receivable activitiesPerform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliationsMonitor and record cash receipts and card paymentsMaintain financial registers including fixed assets, contracts, and floatsAssist with budgeting, grant submissions, and funding administrationSupport preparation of management accounts and audit requestsAssist with general finance administration and ad-hoc reportingCollaborate with colleagues to ensure business continuity across the finance functionRequirements:IATI qualified is essential.At least 1 year's previous experience in a similar role.Strong end user computing skills in particular MS Office.Experience in using cloud-based finance software.Have a full clean driving license.Must be highly motivated with an ability to manage deadlines and ensure quality in every aspect of reporting.Remuneration:Salary is up to 43k DOE, Disability Income Benefit (DIB), Private/Personal Health Insurance (PHI), Pension and a hybrid working policy (3 days WFH) is on offer.If this role is of interest to you, please feel free to reach out to me at If you know of any friends or colleagues who might suit this role and would like to refer them, you will receive a €250 voucher should we successfully place them.
