About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safe and effective management of medications, and leading the development of clinical pharmacy services. They will also be expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives, mentor junior staff members, and contribute to the growth and success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on the safe and effective management of medications.
* Lead the development of clinical pharmacy services, including the creation of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
* Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or equivalent registration.
* Minimum 3 years of post-registration experience in a hospital setting.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* Demonstrated expertise in clinical pharmacy services, including medication management, policy development, and quality improvement.
