This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, values accuracy, and wants to contribute to the continued growth of the firm. You will work directly with the practice owner and support the wider team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory accounts for limited companiesPrepare accounts for sole tradersProduce monthly and quarterly management accountsPerform data analysis and provide insights for clientsPrepare and submit Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and other tax returnsManage and respond to ongoing client queries (meetings, calls, and email)Work to CRO and Revenue deadlinesEnsure compliance with tax legislation and accounting standardsStay informed on relevant technology and embrace digital solutions to improve efficiencySupport and supervise team members, including contributing to ongoing trainingAssist with internal practice development projects, including systems and other continuous improvement initiativesKey RequirementsPrevious experience in a practice environment (SME or large firm)Proficiency with Xero, CCH, or similar cloud-based accounting toolsStrong bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll knowledgeExcellent understanding of accounting principlesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong communication and client relationship skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines independentlyProactive, organised, and open to adopting new technologiesOpportunity to grow your career in a developing practiceSupportive, friendly team environmentFree on-site parkingChance to take on responsibility and contribute to shaping the firm’s futureIf you are an experienced practice accountant looking to join a dynamic and expanding firm, we’d love to hear from you.
