About the Role
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Liquid Milk Warehouse team in Killeshandra. This is a key operational role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of goods within the warehouse. The successful candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and wider logistics team to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick and prepare orders for dispatch to agents and customers.
* Load and unload products from lorries, including deliveries from 3PL sites and suppliers.
* Operate RF scanning equipment where applicable.
* Shunt trailers as required.
* Drive MHE (Material Handling Equipment) safely and efficiently.
* Ensure all distributed products meet quality standards in collaboration with the QA team.
* Handle customer complaints in line with company procedures.
* Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory checks to achieve 99% accuracy.
* Verify and process customer returns.
* Use the Lakeland Dairies ERP system for warehouse operations.
* Complete all relevant documentation to the required standard.
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety guidelines.
* Keep work areas clean, tidy, and audit-ready.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Data Protection legislation.
* Continuously seek improvements in warehouse and dispatch operations.
* Engage in learning and development activities to enhance performance.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
* Valid forklift or MHE license is an advantage.
