We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the management and governance of multiple nursing homes across Kildare and the Greater Dublin area.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of all homes in their region, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and quality standards. They will also implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and protocols, driving continuous improvement in the quality of care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the management and governance of multiple nursing homes.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
* Implement operational policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Drive continuous improvement in quality of care and service delivery.
* Collaborate with Directors of Nursing to develop quality improvement plans.
* Achieve financial and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Lead, motivate, and support Directors of Nursing and their teams.
Requirements
* Be registered as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
* Have a minimum of 10 years post-registration experience, with 3 years within the previous 6 being within the care of older people.
* Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior management role within the Nursing home sector.
* Education: Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or leadership.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Health Act 2007 and HIQA standards for designated centres.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead regional teams and deliver on strategic objectives.
* Financial Acumen: Proven experience in financial and business planning.
* Driving Licence: Full clean licence required.
