About the Job

This is a Plant Engineer role, with responsibility for maintaining and improving the performance of our manufacturing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance engineering within the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in areas such as upstream and downstream processing, utilities, lyophilization, process abatement systems, HVAC, purified water, clean steam, refrigeration, and liquid waste management/treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

* Lead root cause investigations and technical troubleshooting for equipment and system-related issues, ensuring follow-up actions are completed and learnings implemented.

* Take ownership of assigned equipment and systems within a GMP-compliant manufacturing environment.
">
* Oversee the daily operational performance of designated equipment and systems.
">
* Analyse performance data and trends to proactively identify and address potential issues, optimizing system reliability and efficiency.

* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for equipment and processes, and support technicians with preventive maintenance tasks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess an Engineering Degree and/or Trade with 5 years' experience in maintenance engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
