Profile
The successful candidate should have excellent typing and computer skills, a good phone manner, and the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive secretarial support and assistance to partners and other Fee Earners, as required.
2. Dictaphone typing
3. Managing incoming emails and post
4. Producing legal documents and briefs
5. Managing filing and archiving
6. Liaising with clients
7. Performing other general administration duties as required.
Job Requirements:
1. Fast, accurate typing skills with a minimum of 60wpm
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
3. Ability to work under pressure
4. Strong team player
5. High level of computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word
6. Experience with Partner for Windows or similar Case Management System and Digital Dictation systems is an advantage
7. Excellent communication and organizational skills
8. Flexible approach to work and responsibilities
9. Excellent telephone manner
10. Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines
11. Minimum of 24 months litigation experience
