Remote IT Technician

As a Remote IT Technician, you'll serve as the first point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems. You'll also assist with system setups, updates, and security protocols while collaborating virtually with internal teams to maintain high IT service standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently but values collaboration in a remote, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
 * Provide remote support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across multiple locations
 * Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems via phone, email, and remote-access tools
 * Set up and configure devices, user accounts, and system access for new employees
 * Maintain IT documentation, track assets, and manage software licenses
 * Assist with system updates, backups, and cybersecurity protocols
 * Collaborate with internal IT teams to implement process improvements and technical solutions
 * Monitor and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution
What We're Looking For:
 * 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical assistance
 * Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS environments, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms
 * Understanding of networking concepts, VPNs, and remote-access technologies
 * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
 * Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setup
 * Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or ITIL are a plus
