Senior R&D Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior R&D Manager to lead our software and technology projects. As a key client-facing advisory role, you will use your technical expertise to support Ireland's most innovative companies in securing R&D tax credits and innovation incentives.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assess complex software and technology projects to determine eligibility for R&D tax credits and innovation incentives.
* Lead technical assessments and develop robust, compliant technical reports.
* Mentor and develop a team of technology consultants through coaching and on-the-job training.
* Support business development through proposals, pitches, client workshops, and innovation funding reviews.
About the Role:
This is an advisory role focused on assessing and documenting technological innovation, not hands-on software development or system design. You will be working closely with clients to understand their project needs and providing expert guidance on how to secure R&D tax credits and innovation incentives.
Requirements:
* Technical Expertise:
* Extensive experience in software/technology roles (e.g. senior engineer, architect, technical lead, or manager).
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; postgraduate qualifications an advantage.
* Broad knowledge of software design, development, and delivery (e.g. architecture, cloud, distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, digital technologies).
