The School of Natural Sciences seeks to appoint an Teaching Fellow in Human Geography.
Teaching and research in Human Geography are key activities within the School and are central to the agenda and mission of the E3 initiative (Engineering, Environment, and Emerging Technologies: /).
A strong track record in teaching and research, commensurate with careers stage, is expected.
The appointee will have experience of, or demonstrated aptitude for, teaching undergraduate and post-graduate modules in Human Geography, Smart Cities, and Urban Sustainability and will support the Geography undergraduate programs 'Geography and Geoscience' (TR062), 'Geography Joint Honours', the Masters in Development Practice and the E3 taught one-year Masters in 'Smart and Sustainable Cities', as well as contribute towards the supervision of Geography undergraduate dissertations and Masters theses projects across the Masters in 'Smart and Sustainable Cities' and the Masters in 'Development Practice'.
Expertise in GIS and/or Cultural Geography is desirable.
