Overview PM Group's OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department are currently seeking to recruit a Health & Safety specialist to be based in our clients facility based in Belfast. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Developing and implementing EHS programs: Creating and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs that align with both government regulations and company policies. Risk assessment and hazard control: Identifying potential hazards, evaluating risks, and implementing measures to control or eliminate them. Developing and delivering training: Creating and delivering training programs on safety procedures, safe work practices, and emergency procedures. Incident investigation and reporting: Investigating accidents and near misses, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Compliance and auditing: Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, company standards, and industry best practices. Promoting a positive safety culture: Engaging with employees at all levels to foster a proactive safety culture. Maintaining safety documentation: Keeping accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident investigations. Qualifications Essential Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation: Understanding relevant regulations and standards. Experience in hazard identification and risk assessment: Ability to identify potential hazards and assess their associated risks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify and resolve safety issues. Experience in developing and delivering training programs: Ability to create and deliver effective safety training. Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Ability to manage workload and collaborate with others. Relevant qualifications: A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is often required, #LI-MD1
