Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will play an important role in financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement within a dynamic and collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform reconciliations for reinsurance underwriting systemsManage (retro)cession activities, including quota share agreements and cash settlementsCollaborate with underwriting and related teams to understand transaction flowsAnalyse financial results and contribute to quarterly internal reportingPrepare and review quarterly financial results under US GAAPSupport group and regulatory reporting requirementsMaintain and enhance SOX controls and documentationAct as a key contact for internal and external auditsProduce ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as neededContribute to finance system improvements and implementationsRequirementsProfessional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA) with 3–5 years’ post‑qualification experienceExperience in financial reporting within the (re)insurance sectorAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office toolsKnowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Solvency IIDue to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
