Role - Business Analyst
Location - Dublin (Hybrid) - Permanent
My client are looking for a Business Analyst to join their Data Operations team in South Dublin. In this role, you'll play a key part in bridging the gap between business stakeholders, data professionals, and technical teams to help deliver impactful data-driven projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and capture business requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis
* Document clear and concise requirements to support project scoping and delivery
* Support the analysis and mapping of current and future business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
* Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment
* Assist in test planning and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution quality
* Provide general project support, including administrative tasks, tracking progress, and preparing materials
Key Requirements:
* Experience working within Agile frameworks, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria
* Working knowledge of Alteryx, Python, SQL, or similar tools
* Understanding of business analysis and/or data analytics principles
* Proven ability to document business and technical requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
* Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams in a regulated or complex environment
* Fluent in English (C1 or native level)
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, information systems, marketing, or computer science)
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
* Background in insurance, finance, reinsurance, or analytics sectors
* Exposure to backend–frontend system integrations
* Additional language skills (preferably French or Spanish)
