Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Native Architect to lead the design and implementation of a number of cloud solutions on our Data Analytics Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting cloud-native applications and services using Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement cloud-native architectures on our Azure Data Analytics Platform.
* Lead the development and deployment of scalable and secure cloud solutions for a number of uses cases described above.
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Develop and maintain platform design and technical documentation.
* Advocate for best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and automation.
* Ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals and comply with security and regulatory requirements.
* Mentor and guide engineering teams to adopt cloud-native best practices and technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture.
* Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Databricks, Azure App Services and Azure AI services.
* Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
* Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Azure DevOps.
* Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
