Senior Cyber Technical & Relationship Lead

Role Overview
Client is seeking a Senior Cyber Technical & Relationship Lead to take end-to-end ownership of a major airline client’s Cyber Managed Services engagement. This is a senior, client‑facing leadership role combining accountability for managed service delivery, strong cyber technical credibility, and relationship management at senior stakeholder level. The successful candidate will act as Client’s single senior point of accountability for the client, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, strong governance, and a trusted long‑term partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Relationship Leadership
Act as the primary senior Client representative for a major airline cybersecurity account.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders (Cyber, IT, Risk, Compliance).
Lead service reviews, governance forums, and senior stakeholder meetings.
Act as the escalation point for service, delivery, or relationship issues.
Managed Service Delivery Ownership
Take overall accountability for the delivery of Cyber Managed Services.
Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed scope, service levels, and outcomes.
Coordinate delivery across Client internal teams and specialist partners.
Maintain clear ownership and performance management across the service.
Cyber Technical Leadership
Provide senior technical oversight across managed cyber services.
Demonstrate strength in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Engineering, and Cyber Operations.
Act as a senior technical authority for complex security or operational issues.
Establish and run formal service governance appropriate for a regulated airline environment.
Ensure services meet regulatory, audit, and risk management expectations.
Oversee incident management, risk tracking, and assurance reporting.
Lead supplier‑side mobilisation and transition into steady‑state delivery.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
Senior cyber security leadership experience within managed services, MSSP, or systems integrator environments.
Proven accountability for complex enterprise client accounts.
Strong background in IAM and Security Engineering.
Experience in highly regulated environments.
Based in Ireland with flexibility for regular on‑site presence.
Experience in airline or aviation environments.
CNI or safety‑critical industry experience.
Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
