Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Building Surveyor to support their expanding portfolio of private and government-funded projects.
The Role
The Building Surveyor will be responsible for surveying properties for upgrades, assessing project feasibility, and ensuring compliance with current building regulations and industry standards. This role involves conducting site visits, producing technical reports, and collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality insulation and energy efficiency solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct detailed property surveys to assess suitability for projects.
2. Prepare technical reports, measurements, and recommendations based on site assessments.
3. Ensure all surveys align with current building regulations and energy efficiency standards.
4. Advise clients on the best solutions based on their property needs.
5. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and technical teams to facilitate smooth project delivery.
6. Identify potential risks and provide solutions to ensure projects remain compliant and efficient.
7. Maintain accurate documentation and liaise with key stakeholders, including clients and government bodies.
Requirements
1. 1-2 years experience as a Construction or Building Surveyor.
2. Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and energy efficiency upgrades.
3. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
6. Full, clean driving license required.
