Power BI Data Visualization Specialist
Job Description:
As a Power BI Data Visualization Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive and insightful data visualizations that meet the needs of our stakeholders. You will work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop complex data visualizations using Power BI.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver data solutions that support business decision-making.
* Communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous attention to detail and thorough data validation.
* Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
* Contribute to the development of business cases and support end-users in understanding analytical outcomes.
* Participate in cross-functional projects and workstreams.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
* Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design best practices.
* Strong experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
* Ability to create detailed and accurate user stories based on stakeholder input.
* Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
* Skilled in problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional data visualizations and dashboards.
* Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and information gathering capabilities.
* Experience or understanding of healthcare data and workflows is a plus.
* Comfortable working in agile or iterative development environments.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Economics).
