Team / Role Overview:
NARM is a part of the ERM organization responsible for designing and implementing firm-wide frameworks and practices that are fundamental to Risk Management within Citi. The New Activity Approval Process within NARM ensures diligent review and approval of new or modified products, services, and capabilities, maintaining ongoing controls. The team consists of approximately 100 members worldwide, primarily New Activity Risk Managers overseeing risk management of activity proposals.
In early 2024, a Performance team was established within NARM to optimize approval times for new activities. This team of 4 based in London supports NARM by managing portfolios, problem-solving, and generating insights to improve efficiency and velocity across the pipeline.
The successful candidate will report to the Global Head of Performance for NARM, focusing on as a Global Performance Analyst across all businesses. Typically, there are around 200 proposals in various stages of approval at any time. The role focuses on:
* Producing and enhancing performance reports on the proposal pipeline, approval durations, and reviewer performance.
* Generating ad-hoc reports and deep dives on specific functions or areas.
* Identifying insights gaps in NARM and collaborating with stakeholders to address them.
* Working with Change Delivery to automate analytics.
* Monitoring pipeline aging to ensure timely processing.
* Supporting project management for specific proposals requiring special attention.
* Learning from Performance Managers to cover their responsibilities in their absence.
What you'll need:
This role requires a strong desire to learn and develop, with the position based in Belfast or Dublin, with the team based in London. Key qualities include being a self-starter, strong communicator, and team player.
* Relevant experience in a fast-paced industry like Financial Services.
* Proficiency in Excel (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) for data extraction and analysis.
* Experience with Tableau is highly desirable.
* Ability to use PowerPoint to present insights to senior management.
* Project management experience.
* Confident and clear communication skills.
* Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
* Proactive, ownership-driven attitude.
* Resilience under pressure and a strong work ethic.
* High integrity and confidentiality management skills.
