Job Opportunity: Van Driver
We are seeking a reliable and experienced van driver for a short-term contract based in Mallow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
* Deliver goods to customers across Cork and surrounding areas
* Ensure timely deliveries and adherence to daily schedules
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
* Follow all road safety and driving regulations
Requirements:
* A valid full clean B driver's licence
* At least one year of experience as a van driver (preferably delivery or multi-drop)
* Good geographical knowledge of Cork and surrounding counties
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Good communication skills and customer-facing attitude
* Physical fitness to lift and carry goods
* Reliability and punctuality
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a similar role (e.g. courier or logistics)
* Manual handling certification (desired but not essential)
