About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our Primary Care Clinical Trials team at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). As a key member of PRi CAN, you will contribute to enhancing early cancer detection, diagnosis, and outcomes in primary care settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the design, setup, and delivery of pilot m Health trials within national cancer screening pathways.
* Collaborate with screening providers, technical developers, and primary care teams to ensure effective integration of digital interventions into screening initiatives.
* Prepare and manage ethics submissions, data protection documentation, and trial governance materials in line with national and EU regulations.
* Contribute to the monitoring of trial milestones, data quality, and implementation; support the analysis of uptake, engagement, and screening outcomes across pilot sites.
* Prepare reports, policy briefs, and academic publications; contribute to consortium deliverables and represent the team at relevant meetings and conferences.
Requirements
* A PhD in a relevant field, such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Health Economics.
* Strong understanding of cancer screening, population health, or digital intervention delivery.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills.
