About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Qualified Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation work within the plant, as well as supervising tasks performed by other team members to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical installation work in an industrial plant environment.Supervise and verify work completed by other electricians or apprentices.Ensure that all electrical tasks are carried out in accordance with Irish regulations and company procedures.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed.Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.Required QualificationsNFQ Level 6 (Advanced Certificate – Craft) within the National Framework of Qualifications, awarded by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical, obtained upon successful completion of the SOLAS electrical apprenticeship.Registered with Safe Electric (CRU) as a qualified electrician.ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in electrical installation work.Working Hours48 hours per weekMonday to Friday: 08:00 – 18:00 (1-hour lunch break)Alternate Saturdays: 08:00 – 14:00AvailabilityImmediate availability requiredDesirable Certifications (Not essential but advantageous)Manual Handling CertificateSafe Pass CardMEWP (Boom & Scissor Lift) CertificationWorking at Heights CertificationDumper TicketAbrasive Wheels CertificateFire Safety CertificateSpanish language skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsOpportunities for professional developmentSupportive working environmentPotential for long-term career progressionJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
