Job Opportunity: Commis Chef Position
A four-star hotel in Ireland seeks a skilled Commis Chef to join its team. The hotel is situated on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, offering an ideal work environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare ingredients for meals, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
* Daily preparation of fresh sandwiches and soups according to the menu plan.
* Set up for lunch and dinner services as instructed by the Chef de Partie.
* Ensure timely delivery of food from your station.
* Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation, adhering to HACCP regulations.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Prior experience as a kitchen assistant or commis chef, or relevant culinary education.
* Familiarity with food safety and health regulations.
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification, or current student in Culinary Arts.
* A genuine interest in food and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
