A progressive dairy farm seeking a reliable and experienced person to assist during the busy spring period.
Role Overview
This is a part‑time position for February and March, suitable for someone available mornings only or 2-3 days per week. The role would suit an experienced dairy worker who can work confidently and independently.
Key Responsibilities
Milking & Livestock
* Morning milking
* Monitoring cow health and welfare
* Assisting with calving and early lactation cows
* Feeding and general stock care
Spring Duties
* Calving supervision and calf care
* Yard work during peak spring workload
* Supporting day‑to‑day spring farm operations
Machinery & General Work
* Operating tractors and basic farm machinery
* Scraping, feeding, and general yard duties
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Experience & Requirements
* Previous dairy farming experience essential
* Confident handling livestock
* Machinery experience required
* Ability to work independently
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Working Hours
* Mornings only or
* 2-3 days per week
* February and March (with possible flexibility)
