Job Title: HR Manager 5 Star Hotel
Summary:
We are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day Human Resources activities of a 5* hotel in Cork, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
* To manage and coordinate the Human Resources department, ensuring effective people management and communication throughout the hotel.
* To advise and assist Heads of Department with recruitment, training, performance management, employee engagement, and development.
* To ensure compliance with all relevant training requirements, arranging refresher training as necessary.
* To manage the disciplinary process, ensuring fair procedures and time frames.
* To maintain open communication with HODs and the management team.
Requirements:
* A qualification in Human Resources Management.
* Minimum 4 years' previous experience in a 4/5* Hotel HR Management role.
* Thorough knowledge of Irish employment law and Hotel Industry best practice.
* Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal and organisational skills, leadership and conflict management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects at a given time.
