You will ensure that DevOps teams using the platform benefit from already built solutions and patterns that accelerate delivery while ensuring compliance and security. This is a key role in bringing new solutions to enhance BAU and ensure automation is adopted by design.In this Role, you willDesign of new features in the bank's Public Cloud Platforms aligned to Business requirements feeding it to the sprints executed by the CCoE Cloud Engineering teamPursue improvements in the platform related to compliance, security and operations excellence via automationRefine requirements ensuring the built solution will be aligned to business and customer needsGuide BUs and other areas on the best use of the CCoE Supported Cloud PlatformsGuide Partners on the solution implementation once designedRepresent the solution in needed forums for approval (Architecture and Security for instance)Assess opportunities for Cloud adoption with BUs, Group IT colleagues and partners to create business cases for adoptionDrive Cloud adoption by collaborating with Group Architecture, Security and other IT and IO areasConstantly review the Bank's Public Cloud Platform for innovation and cost optimisationSupport the Cloud Design Authority in the technical space, providing recommendations to projects on how to best use the CloudWork with other Bank areas to ensure security by design and appropriate guardrailsCreate and document repeatable patterns to accelerate cloud adoption and reduce overhead for platform customersWhat Will Make You Stand OutYou have 5+ years experience in Cloud Services and architecture with significant experience of cloud technologies, especially AWS and Microsoft Azure. You are a subject matter expert on areas relating to customer applications and services (e.g., AI/Machine Learning, Containers, Security, Big Data, etc.).You have the ability to influence roadmaps, support scalability and optimisation with an understanding of commercial imperatives. You are a strong communicator at all levels and have experience managing third parties / multiple vendors. You understand risk and operations in a regulatory sector.
