Primary Responsibilities

Lead medium to large complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phases
Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module(s)
Collaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner and make corrective configuration or enhancements
Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs
Provide technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration. Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customers
Serve as a mentor/subject matter expert to local and client-based team members
Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software
Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementation

Required Qualifications

Degree education or equivalent experience
Proven deep experience of Epic or Cerner systems, with active / current Epic or Cerner certification in at least one area
Demonstrated direct client healthcare domain knowledge such as clinical documentation workflow, patient portal, closing encounters, and patient flow
Proven ability to take on a new application or project area with proven success
Proven experience managing application specific work plans at the resource and task level

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience mentoring individuals or teams within the system
Demonstrated knowledge and experience using basic and intermediate project management tools and techniques
Proven ability to handle multiple client assignments and communicate with all stakeholders involved
Demonstrated ability to communicate tactfully and work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors and system staff at all levels
Proven capability to lead and work well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team

Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application. Proof will be required to support your application.
Working Arrangements
Occasional after-work hours may be required to support emergency response and operational needs.
There would be an initial training program on joining where there may be an expectation to work adjusted hours, depending on trainer location/availability. Following this, hours would be standard local hours with a need for some flexibility when working with US clients.
