Enea is Growing Work closely with Product Managers to turn product strategy into clear, deliverable technical plans, owning the engineering aspects of the product roadmap from definition through release. Acting as a key link between engineering, customers, pre-sales, and services, you will engage directly with technical stakeholders to understand real business problems and translate them into well scoped technical solutions.Based in Dublin, Ireland, this role sits within the Network Security Business Group Engineering team and reports to the VP of Engineering.Role and Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be accountable for prioritisation and scope decisions within Engineering, balancing stakeholder expectations while working in an Agile environment and ensuring delivery commitments remain clear and achievable throughout each release cycle.Key responsibilities include:• Engage with Product Managers, Sales, Pre-sales, delivery and Threat Intelligence team to understand customer needs, user pain points and constraints in customer deployments.• Raise awareness of engineering constraints (e.g. limitations of existing architecture, existing commitments) during product management decision making.• Work within Engineering (and with stakeholders) to find product solutions, evaluate feasibility and define features that solve business requirements and problems• Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to align the product architecture roadmap with business direction• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering teams and the Product Managers and other stakeholders regarding product requirements and priorities• Ensure that business value and customer problems are clearly explained to Engineering teams• Work with engineering architects and team leads to estimate effort, identify dependencies, and plan technical implementation approaches• Lead Product Increment or Release planning and prioritization discussions inside Engineering• Ensure that each planning increment has the required POC and architecture evolution work to enable future release feasibility, planning and delivery.• Make scope adjustment and priority adjustment decisions to keep release commitments on track, managing stakeholder expectations in the process.• Arrange review of requirements and designs and feature demos with technical stakeholders to ensure frequent feedback between engineering teams and stakeholders.• Become an expert in the Network Security products, their features and the solutions they support.Qualifications, Key Skills and Competence Expert in telecoms systems with experience in some or all of the following desirable:o Messaging - CPaaS & MNO messaging domains, call flows and network systems.o Signalling – MNO signalling threat detection, SS7, Diameter, GTP protocols. Experience in software development and deployment for both on-premise telecoms products and SaaS systems. Agile practitioner. Experienced working with agile planning and development processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to adapt as organizational needs change.
