The Opportunity
Syntech Recruitment are working with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Galway who are looking to appoint an organised and customer-focused Account Coordinator / Junior Account Manager to support their growing customer base.
This position will support key customer accounts and act as a link between customers and internal departments including production, engineering, supply chain and quality. The successful candidate will help ensure orders, quotations and customer enquiries are managed efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service.
This role would suit someone with previous experience within a customer service, sales support, internal sales or account coordination role within manufacturing or engineering who is looking to further develop their commercial career.
Key Responsibilities

Support the management of customer accounts and maintain strong working relationships
*
Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries, orders and updates
*
Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments
*
Assist with quotations, lead times and order processing activities
*
Track customer orders from enquiry through to delivery
*
Support resolution of delivery issues, customer concerns and order changes
*
Maintain accurate CRM records, customer forecasts and account information
*
Assist with account reviews, reporting and customer performance tracking
*
Help identify opportunities for repeat business and account growth
*
Ensure customers receive timely and professional communication throughout projects and orders
Candidate Requirements
*
Previous experience within a customer service, account coordination, internal sales or support role
*
Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments preferred
*
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*
Good organisational and multitasking abilities
*
Commercial awareness and confidence communicating with customers and internal teams
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
*
Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving
*
Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office packages
Desirable Experience
*
Exposure to precision engineering, CNC machining or manufacturing environments
*
Experience supporting quotations, scheduling or order coordination
*
Technical or engineering knowledge advantageous but not essential
*
Business or engineering-related qualification beneficial
