We are seeking a detail-oriented Warranty Advisor to manage warranty claims within the service department. The role ensures all warranty work complies with manufacturer guidelines, claims are submitted accurately, and communication runs smoothly between customers, technicians, and manufacturers.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES
● Process and submit warranty claims accurately and on time
● Review repair orders to ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of warranty policies and procedures
● Communicate with service advisors and technicians regarding documentation
● Track and follow up on submitted, unpaid, or rejected claims
● Maintain accurate warranty records for audit purposes
● Handle warranty-related customer inquiries professionally
● Coordinate warranty parts returns with parts and service departments
● Identify recurring warranty issues and opportunities for improvement
IDEAL CANDIDATE
● Experience in an automotive dealership or service environment
● Strong understanding of vehicle systems and warranty processes
● Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
● High attention to detail and accuracy
● Experience with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK) is an advantage
