Key Responsibilities
The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement effective controls that meet business requirements. This will involve collaborating with the Oracle Fusion functional team to enhance the finance control environment, focusing on our Oracle Fusion application.
Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and resolving segregation of duty violations on an ongoing basis via control reporting for Finance and HR. This will require proactive investigation and remediation of transactional control violations.
You will work closely with the Quality Assurance team on JIRA, a project management tool, to manage maintenance, defects, and change requests within Oracle Fusion. Your tasks will also include working on ad hoc Finance projects across various functions and other enhancements on the Oracle Fusion application.
This position requires strong communication skills to liaise with Group Risk, ensuring proper management, documentation, and resolution of risk incidents and action items in the Risk Management Portal. You will review the aging of risk incidents and action items to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution by engaging the Risk team and relevant stakeholders as required. Furthermore, you will liaise with internal and external audit in relation to various control audits and queries. Additionally, facilitating communication within the department by assisting and organisingmunication sessions is also part of your responsibilities. Finally, coordinating, developing, and rolling out training initiatives across the Finance teams, liaising with the training department where necessary. Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks assigned to the role.
Qualifications
1. A bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related discipline is essential.
Key Competencies
2. Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst or Accountant is desirable.
3. Knowledge of Oracle Fusion SaaS application, JIRA, Confluence is highly valued but not mandatory.
4. Self-motivation, proactivity, and initiative are crucial for success in this role.
