The companys portfolio currently comprises of three large Super Valu Supermarkets in Balbriggan and Skerries in North County Dublin and Palmerstown, Dublin 20.
The company also owns two 4* Hotels, the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, North County Dublin, and the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip, Co.
Kildare.
The company currently employees approximately 550 people.
The Moriarty Group of Super Valu's are 3 of the largest Super Valu stores in the Dublin area.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Deli Manager to join our management team/fresh food team in our Balbriggan store.

The Role: This is a full-time position, working an average of 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays.
Main Duties: Management of a busy deli department including (sandwich counter, hot food counter, cold meats, savouries, cheese and salad bar).
Stock ordering and control.
Department financials/controlling costs Driving sales HACCP duties.
Staff Management (team of 6 staff) Preparing department roster Staff training and development Ensuring store standards are implemented and achieved.
Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Requirements: Must have at least 2/3 years experience as a deli manager in a busy grocery retail environment - this experience is essential and candidates who do not have this experience cannot be considered for the role.
Previous experience working within a Super Valu/Centra property would be desirable but is not essential.
Must have strong people management skills.
Must be HACCP trained.
Must be fluent in the English Language both written and spoken.
Must be able to drive sales.
Must have a good understanding of the financial aspect of the role.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must have strong communications skills.
Must have strong organisational skills.
Staff training & development experience.
Excellent communications skills.
Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Must be available for early starts and weekend work.
