We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, you will provide technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
Job Description:
* This role will focus on advising customers looking to enhance their business or operational outcomes through the use of Data and Analytics on AWS.
Responsibilities:
* Advise customer's technologists and business leads on scalable data solutions on AWS.
* Discuss industry-specific business concepts with customer technologists and business leads especially in FSI, Mining and Retail.
* Deliver large, complex customer engagements across pre-sales and delivery from ideation, through architecture design and scoping, all the way to development, testing and roll out.
* Conduct workshop sessions to identify opportunities with our customers to scope how they could deliver business value through the use of Data and Analytics on AWS.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years experience in cloud architecture, designing and implementing cloud solutions.
* Hands-on experience in developing scalable, high-performance data ingestion and engineering pipelines, performing complex data transformations across large datasets using Apache Spark API and SparkSQL to implement data lake architectures
* Strong programming skills in both Python and Scala
* 5+ years of experience with direct customer (internal or external) interaction with responsibilities in Data and Analytics solutions design, architecture and implementation (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lake House, Data Mesh, Data as a Product and Data Governance including Data quality and controls, etc..)
