Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Coordinator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating health and safety initiatives across the organization, supporting the development of policies to reduce potential risks, and working closely with contracts managers and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering health and safety contracts and policies in accordance with organizational agreements
* Ensuring regular inspections of projects are undertaken and reporting any action points
* Organizing daily workload and routes to ensure all projects within the business portfolio are visited within a set time period
* Completing inspection reports to a high standard and uploading them to relevant stakeholders
* Collaborating with contracts managers and project managers to recommend prioritized actions for safety improvements
* Facilitating continuous improvement in all aspects of site operations as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A health and safety background within the utilities sector
* 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role
* NEBOSH certification
* Excellent organization and communication skills
* The ability to build rapport quickly and easily with diverse stakeholders
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Confident use of Microsoft Office
* A full driving license
