We are seeking an experienced Lead Process Engineer – Dublin to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering major pharmaceutical and life sciences projects across Ireland and Europe. This is a senior technical leadership role, responsible for leading process design activities and managing multidisciplinary project delivery from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process engineering activities across multiple projects, ensuring delivery to quality, budget, and schedule requirements.Develop and review process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, utility sizing and equipment specifications.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors and end users throughout project execution.Lead and participate in HAZOPs, PHAs, design reviews and technical approvals.Manage process changes, risk mitigation and project controls.Support proposals, scope development and business development activities.Drive continuous improvement and the implementation of innovative process solutions.Mentor and develop engineers within the team and provide technical leadership on projects.Ensure compliance with industry standards, GMP requirements and client specifications.
Requirements
Degree in Chemical, Process or Industrial Engineering.8+ years’ experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences or GMP manufacturing environments.Previous experience leading process engineering design projects.Strong knowledge of process design and project delivery methodologies.Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, vendors and stakeholders.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Strong organisational and problem-solver abilities.Proficiency with MS Office and process engineering software.
Desirable
Subject Matter Expert-level knowledge within pharmaceutical or life sciences process engineering.Experience leading process safety studies and acting as a HAZOP/PHA chair.Previous consultancy experience would be advantageous.
