On behalf of our client, a growing M&A team in Cork, we are currently interested in talking to Corporate Finance professionals with 5+ years Corporate Finance experience.
Role:
* Take ownership of the day-to-day transaction management of M&A mandates from initial meetings to closing
* Oversee complex financial modelling, valuations and due diligence findings
* Direct the preparation and review of key documentation (pitch books, teasers, management presentations and valuation reports)
* Develop a thorough understanding of the client's requirements, working with them to develop the best approach
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure that work is properly executed at all times
* Identify and anticipate risks that require escalation
* Play a key role is all origination efforts by identifying and analysing business development opportunities
* Communicate effectively internally, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of deal progress and risks
* Actively strengthen external relationships to broaden your network and contribute to origination efforts
* Actively mentor and develop more junior members of the team
Candidate profile:
* 5+ years' experience in Corporate Finance
* Strong FDD experience
* Finance related bachelor's or master's degree
* Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
* High level of commercial acumen
* Ability to identify key issues on assignments and suggest workable solutions
* Experience in presenting findings clearly in reports and other deliverables to clients
* Excellent communicator, both written and oral
* Strong team player
