Quality Assurance Specialist in Food Safety
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the implementation and management of quality systems in a fast-paced, progressive food production environment.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain HACCP, SOPs, and the sites Food Safety Management System.
2. Conduct internal audits and work cross-functionally to close out findings.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support project delivery.
4. Analyse production KPIs and assist in resolving quality issues on-site.
5. Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints.
Requirements:
* Degree in Food Science or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a QA/QC role within food manufacturing.
* In-depth understanding of HACCP, BRC, and food legislation.
