The Company
A globally active main contractor delivering technically complex
data centre and logistics developments
across Europe and the US. The business is establishing a
centralised preconstruction centre of excellence
in Kildare to support its expanding international pipeline.
The Role
The Quality Manager will be responsible for driving
quality assurance and quality planning during preconstruction
, ensuring projects are set up for successful delivery before construction commences.
This role is heavily focused on
tender-stage quality strategy
, documentation, and process development, working alongside multidisciplinary preconstruction teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop project-specific quality strategies at tender and pre-start stages
* Prepare and review quality sections of bid submissions, including ITP frameworks and inspection regimes
* Engage with design teams to ensure buildability and compliance are embedded early
* Support standardisation of company-wide quality systems for international projects
* Review specifications, employers requirements, and design deliverables from a quality perspective
* Participate in bid reviews, risk workshops, and client meetings
* Manage quality handover from preconstruction into site delivery teams
Requirements
* Background in quality management with a main contractor or large subcontractor
* Experience on data centre, logistics, or complex industrial projects
* Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems
* Preconstruction or tender-stage experience highly desirable
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
