**Job Opportunity:**
We are seeking a seasoned engineer to join our R&D division as a Senior Hardware Test and Validation Specialist.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, execute, and document comprehensive test plans for hardware validation across various product lines. You will be responsible for performing hands-on testing, fault-finding, and root cause analysis on electronic assemblies, defining test methodologies, fixtures, and custom test setups for prototype and pre-production units.
As a Senior Hardware Test and Validation Engineer, you will work closely with design and embedded teams to influence hardware testability and improve product robustness. Additionally, you will support regulatory compliance testing (EMC, environmental, functional safety) and drive continuous improvement in validation processes and documentation standards.
Key Qualifications:
* 5+ years' experience in hardware test/validation or electronics development
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
* Strong understanding of analogue/digital circuit design and debugging
* Experience with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, power supplies, etc.)
* Knowledge of test development for microcontroller-based systems
Desirable Experience:
* Automated hardware testing or LabVIEW/test scripting
* Wireless technologies (BLE, Zigbee, RF)
* Environmental and compliance standards (e.g. IEC, ISO 13485, EMC/EMI testing)
* PCB layout best practices and DFT/DFM principles
