Job Description:
Join Charles River Biologics as a Sales Support Specialist, a role designed for individuals passionate about sales and the scientific industry. This fully remote position is ideal for candidates across Western Europe looking to transition into scientific sales. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets in Biologics Testing and Manufacturing services, engaging with prospects and existing customers to recommend services that meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
2. Collaborate with business development, management, and other departments to increase market share.
3. Develop account-specific sales strategies and qualify leads through prospecting.
4. Build and maintain customer relationships, handle inquiries, and qualify opportunities.
5. Prepare and execute territory management plans and gather market intelligence.
6. Utilize CRM (Salesforce) for all client interactions and sales documentation.
7. Participate in sales meetings and trade shows.
8. Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues.
Requirements:
1. Master’s degree or equivalent in life sciences; PhD is a plus.
2. At least 5 years of experience in life sciences, with technical and sales expertise.
3. Strong customer needs analysis and obstacle management skills.
4. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Social adaptability and cultural fluency.
6. Proficiency in office and sales software; valid driver’s license.
7. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
8. Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
